UPI down: UPI server crashed once again, thousands of PhonePe, Google Pay users troubled

According to the data of DownDetector, about 1,168 complaints were registered regarding UPI service till noon. Of these, 96 users reported problems on Google Pay and 23 on Paytm. No official statement has been issued by UPI on this problem yet, but it has crashed several times in the last few days.

UPI down: UPI (Unified Payments Interface) is down once again in India on Saturday morning. Due to this problem in UPI, millions of users are not able to make digital payments. This sudden malfunction has badly affected both people and merchants transacting through popular apps like PhonePe, Google Pay and Paytm.

According to the data of DownDetector, about 1,168 complaints were registered regarding UPI service till noon. Of these, 96 users reported problems on Google Pay and 23 on Paytm. There has been no official statement from UPI on this problem yet, but it has been down several times in the last few days.

Earlier, on March 26, there was a huge technical glitch in the UPI service, when users of different UPI apps were unable to make transactions for about 2 to 3 hours. The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) attributed this problem to technical difficulties, which affected the digital payment process of common users and merchants across the country.
