Mahindra, known for its rugged and dependable SUVs, has given a fresh update to two of its popular models — the Mahindra Bolero & Bolero Neo. These compact SUVs, which have long been favorites in rural and urban markets alike, now arrive with a stylish cosmetic upgrade called the Bold Edition.
A Fresh Look for a Trusted Name
The Mahindra Bolero, a nameplate that has stood the test of time, continues to dominate the sub-4-meter SUV segment. The new Mahindra Bolero Bold Edition aims to elevate its appeal with a sleeker, more aggressive design. Though the upgrades are purely cosmetic, they significantly enhance the vehicle’s road presence.

In this special edition, the Mahindra Bolero Bold showcases a distinctive Dark Chrome exterior finish, giving it a premium touch. Inside, the cabin receives all-black interiors that complement the bold theme. A sporty front bumper adds an aggressive flair, while Mahindra’s new tagline for this model — “Bemisal jazbe ki shaan, Bold ki nayi pehchaan” — reflects its confident attitude.
Mahindra Bolero Neo Edition: Built to Stand Out
The Bolero Neo also receives its own Bold Edition treatment. Mahindra markets it with the phrase “Born Bold, Built Unstoppable,” and the design backs that claim. Like the Bolero, it features Dark Chrome accents and premium black interiors, but also includes roof rails and a rear-view camera for added practicality.

An exclusive Comfort Kit is available with the Bolero Neo Bold Edition, likely including neck pillows and other comfort-focused accessories. While pricing details haven’t been disclosed yet, this package is expected to carry a higher premium than the standard Bolero Bold Edition.
No Mechanical Changes, Proven Performance
Under the hood, both models retain their reliable diesel powertrains. The Bolero continues with its 1.5L mHawk75 turbo diesel engine delivering 75 bhp and 210 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the Bolero Neo runs on a more powerful 1.5L mHawk100 engine, producing 100 bhp and 260 Nm. Both engines are known for their durability and are designed to handle tough Indian driving conditions with ease.

With Mahindra’s reputation for toughness and reliability, the Bold Edition is likely to strengthen the appeal of both models in their segment.
